Hands-On VEX IQ, Electronics, and 3D Printing Summer Camps for Delran, NJ, Students

At STEAM Clubhouse, we make summer exciting, educational, and fun for elementary and high school students. As a locally owned and operated program, we’re proud to offer a safe and supportive place where young minds explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Our summer camps are packed with hands-on activities that keep kids engaged and learning while school is out.

Each camp focuses on real-world STEAM skills—from programming and robotics to CAD design and drone operation. Campers don’t just sit and listen—they build, create, code, test, and improve their own projects. They get to keep what they make, and they gain the kind of confidence that only comes from seeing their own ideas come to life.

We offer 3-to-5-day camps with themes tailored to various interests and skill levels. Whether your child is new to technology or already tinkering with code and electronics, we have a place for them. Our team designs each activity to be age-appropriate and scaffolded, which means every camper can succeed and grow—no matter where they start.

Give your child a summer they’ll never forget—filled with challenges, creativity, and community. At STEAM Clubhouse, learning feels like play, and play leads to progress. Let’s build their future, one project at a time.

Scaffolded STEAM Projects

Our scaffolded STEAM projects help students build skills step-by-step. Each activity introduces core ideas in science, technology, engineering, art, and math with increasing complexity. Campers develop their problem-solving abilities while learning how to plan, build, and refine projects over time. This approach ensures success at every level—whether students are brand new or already experienced in STEAM.

Working Robot

Campers will design and build a working robot from the ground up. They’ll learn the fundamentals of how machines move, sense, and respond to commands. Along the way, they explore wiring, sensors, motors, and more—all while developing teamwork and critical thinking. Creating a robot that really works gives them a deep sense of accomplishment.

Mechanical and Programming Principles

Through hands-on activities, students explore how gears, levers, and motors work—and how to control them through simple code. By combining mechanical design with software logic, campers understand how technology comes together. This helps them apply concepts in both math and engineering in a meaningful and memorable way.

VEX IQ Games

VEX IQ games introduce students to real-world competitive robotics. Kids learn to build robots that complete tasks, follow commands, and navigate challenges. These games sharpen both mechanical and strategic thinking, helping campers practice problem-solving under pressure while having fun and staying engaged.

VEX IQ Challenges

VEX IQ challenges push students to level up their robotics skills. They’ll test their designs, improve performance, and learn to adapt to changing conditions. These activities simulate actual robotics competitions and teach perseverance, teamwork, and the importance of trial and error in engineering.

LEGO Mechanics

LEGO mechanics sessions allow students to explore motion and force in a playful, structured environment. By building and experimenting with LEGO models, they learn engineering concepts like torque, balance, and energy transfer—without even realizing it. It’s creativity and learning all in one.

Python Programming

Campers dive into Python, one of the most widely used programming languages. They’ll write simple code, understand how computers follow logic, and begin creating interactive programs. Python teaches clean syntax and solid foundational skills that apply across nearly all areas of tech.

Programming for Beginners

We introduce young learners to programming in a fun, visual way using beginner-friendly tools like Scratch. Students learn the basics of logic, sequencing, and problem-solving by creating animations, games, and more. It’s the perfect way to make coding feel creative and exciting.
